Dr Dawood Nasir elected member APPNA Board of Trustee

Dr. Dawood Nasir will serve on the board of APPNA for next four years.

DALLAS: Dr Dawood Nasir has been elected as a member of Board of Trustee APPNA, the largest ex-patriot Pakistani physicians organization outside of Pakistan.

It is a great honor for whole of Texas and especially for Dallas community that Dr Dawood Nasir has been elected to serve as APPNA.

Dr. Dawood Nasir will serve on the board of APPNA for next four years.

According to the new changes approved by the membership, there will be four Board of trustees from four different regions of North America to serve on APPNA Board for four years.

APPNA is the largest ex-patriot Pakistani physicians organization outside of Pakistan and represents over 18,000 Pakistani physicians of North America.

Dr. Dawood Nasir's services to this organization span over many years. He was the chairman of APPNA summer convention 2018, which was held in Anatole Hilton, Dallas, downtown.

Dr. Nasir also served as president of North Texas chapter, president of his alma matter, Quaid-e-Azam medical college, Bahawalpur and on the APPNA central EC as the treasurer.

Dr. Dawood Nasir's wife, Dr. Mehmooda Nasir who is a DOW graduate from Karachi is a psychiatrist and she is also involved in several local charities and has been running free psychiatry clinic in plano masjid for last several years.

Both of their contributions to the community are highly commendable.

We congratulate Dr. Dawood Nasir on being elected to the highest honor in APPNA as a member of its Board of Trustee. We are very happy for him for this great achievement.
