Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman arrived in Pakistan on two-day official visit here on Sunday. The Saudi Prince was accorded red carpet welcome at Noor Khan Airbase. Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa received the Saudi Prince at the base.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman has arrived in Pakistan on two-day official visit.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa , members of the federal cabinet and senior civil and military officials warmly welcomed Saudi Prince Mohammad Bin Salman at Nur Khan airbase.

Mohammad Bin Salman plane landed at Nur Khan airbase at around 7:30 PM Sunday.

Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived at Nur Khan airbase to welcome Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman is arriving in Pakistan on two-day official visit here on Sunday. The Saudi Prince will be accorded red-carpet welcome at Noor Khan Airbase. Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan will personally receive the Saudi Prince along with cabinet ministers at the base and drive him to PM House office.

He will be presented 21-gun salute upon his arrival.

The crown prince is expected to leave Pakistan tomorrow (Monday) after signing a raft of investment agreements in the energy sector for more than $10 billion.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in an interview with Saudi Gazette said Saudi Arabia is very close to our heart in every respect. “It is only natural that Pakistan would always like to see it prosper in the most peaceful environment within and around its boundaries.

Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman is arriving on a two-day visit to Pakistan which is being termed historic as the Saudi Arabia is due to sign MoUs worth billions of dollars.

The crown prince is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan and will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including members of the Saudi royal family, key ministers and leading businessmen.

During his visit, the crown prince will hold meetings with President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

A delegation of Pakistan’s Senate will also call on him and discuss ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

Ministers from Saudi Arabia will also hold meetings with their Pakistani counterparts to discuss bilateral cooperation.

During Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s stay, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will sign a number of agreements and MoUs in diverse sectors, including investment, finance, power, renewable energy, internal security, media, culture and sports. The two countries will also discuss ways and means to develop a robust follow-up mechanism to ensure effective implementation and quick progress on tangible areas of cooperation.

The federal capital had been tastefully decorated to mark the occasion. Elaborate security arrangements had been made for the visiting dignitary and his delegation.

A banquet would be held at the Prime Minister House in the honour of the crown prince. Imran Khan and Mohammad bin Salman would also address the banquet.

The joint working groups of both the countries would hold meetings on various ventures of bilateral cooperation.

The Board of Investment (BoI) would sign a number of memoranda of understandings to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

A Supreme Coordination Council led by Mohammad bin Salman and Imran Khan will be launched during the visit for effective coordination and follow up to achieve mutually agreed objectives.

A banquet would be held at the President House today, where President Dr Arif Alvi would confer the highest civil award on Mohammad bin Salman.
