Olive oil 2 tbsp

Onion (finely chopped) 1/2 cup

Garlic (chopped) 3 cloves

Canned anchovies (chopped) 3-4

Tomato paste 2 tbsp

Red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp

Crushed tomatoes (28-ounce can) 1

Dried oregano 2 tsp

Small non-pareil capers 2 tbsp

Olives (pitted - black or green) 3/4 cup (95 g)
