Hassan wins under-18 singles title

KARACHI: Hassan Farooq won the title of under-18 singles in the 3rd Essa Lab National Junior Tennis Open at Karachi Gymkhana on Thursday.
He defeated Nouman Aftab 6-3, 6-3 in the final of the category to clinch the title.
The under-14 singles final was won by Ebad Ahmed who defeated Houd Azher 6-3, 6-3.
In the final of under-12 singles, M Yahya beat Farzan Ahmed 8-6.
Dr Jamil Ahmed, DIG Karachi South, was the chief guest who gave away trophies and Rs100,000 cash prizes to the winners and runners up of various events.
