It is true as said by every politician and every channel that the nation’s reputation has been badly tarnished by the fake degree scandal. But how is the nation’s reputation not tarnished when scores of parliamentarians are found possessing fake degrees; when over 50,000 vehicles in Karachi carry fake number plates; when almost 90 percent arm licences issued by the state are fake; when only in Sindh there are 6,207 fake schools?
How is the entire nation so comfortable and tolerant and does not find anything wrong in all the fake things it does every day? One would like to know what is so different about this fake(ness) that the government itself does not indulge in everyday.
