The 11th Masala Awards were held in Dubai on December 4, where various Pakistani celebrities such as Amna Ilyas, Sheheryar Munawar, Ali Rehman Khan, Ayesha Omar, Frieha Altaf and Osman Khalid Butt were in attendance. However, it was couturier Faraz Manan, who stole the show as Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan, looking absolutely ravishing, walked the ramp for the designer.
Faraz Manan, who was a jury member this year, showcased his latest Couture Collection at the awards. He is one of the Pakistani designers whose clientele is not only limited to Pakistan and UAE but also the royals in Lebanon and the A-list stars in the Bollywood industry.
At the event Kareena Kapoor Khan, who also received the Asian Icon of the Year Awards, took the stage and shared how excited she was to be there. She said that Dubai was one of her “favourite places” as most of her fans were there.
She thanked everyone for the love and the award that she received and added, “Walking tonight at Masala Awards for a dear, dear friend Faraz, has been even more special.” The actress further went on to say that they have been planning this for a very long time and said, “Thank you Masala for actually making this walk possible for me and Faraz.”
