• Born on 2nd November 1966 in Queens, New York, U.S.
  
• Has an older sister, Ellie.
  
• Initially thought he would become a doctor.
  
• Developed an interest in acting after enrolling in drama class and attending acting programs.
  
• Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre and speech from Northwestern University in 1988.
