- Smallfoot (with the voices of Channing Tatum, James Corden, Zendaya, Common) – animated comedy, based on the book Yeti Tracks by Sergio Pablos; a Yeti (Tatum) is convinced that the elusive creature known as the “Smallfoot” (i.e. human) really does exist.
- Night School (starring Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, Taran Killam, Rob Riggle) – comedy; a group of troublemakers are forced to attend night school in hopes of finishing high school.
- The Old Man & the Gun (starring Robert Redford, Casey Affleck, Sissy Spacek, Danny Glover) – biographical crime comedy; based on the real story of career criminal Forrest Tucker (Redford) and his audacious escapes from prison.
- Hell Fest (starring Amy Forsyth, Reign Edwards, Bex Taylor-Klaus) – horror; at a horror theme park during Halloween, a costumed killer starts slaying unsuspecting visitors who can’t tell if it’s real or part of the show

- Has an older sister named, Haylie, who is also an actress.
- Parents are divorced.
- Started her acting career as a child with minor roles on television in the later 1990s.
- Gained fame after being cast in the title role of the Disney Channel sitcom Lizzie McGuire (2001 – 2004), becoming a teen star. Mostly starred in independent movies and had guest appearances on television shows after that.
- Currently appears in the sitcom Younger (2015 – present).
- Released her debut album, Santa Claus Lane, in 2002. Has since released four more albums: Metamorphosis (2003), Hilary Duff (2004), Dignity (2007), and Breathe In. Breathe Out. (2015).
