- Is Brian Henson’s first R-rated movie with puppets.
- Had a budget of $40 million; has made around $25 million in nearly a month.
- Has received very negative reviews from critics who though the film just focuses on being vulgar and isn’t very funny.
- Was sued by Sesame Workshop for including the tagline "No Sesame, all Street". Subsequently referenced the lawsuit in its ads by starting that it was "from the studio that was sued by Sesame Street...".
