Ahsan Rahim’s Teefa In Trouble that stars Ali Zafar and Maya Ali in lead roles is all set to premiere on Thursday in Karachi, followed by its worldwide release on Friday, July 20.

Quite recently, the music video for the third song from the film ‘Sajna Door’ was released after two successful song releases; ‘Item Number’, an upbeat dance number that has gotten over 6.5 million views on YouTube and the soulful ‘Chan Ve’ with over 8.3 million views.

While both the songs have managed to impress with their peppy tunes and catchy lyrics, ‘Sajna Door’ is a change of pace and is a soft romantic ballad, penned and composed by Ali Zafar and his brother Danyal Zafar. Singer Aima Baig and Ali Zafar have lent their voices to the mellow composition with music arrangement by Baqir Abbas, Hassan Badshah and Ali Zafar.

With sharp cinematography by Zain Haleem, the video of ‘Sajna Door’ has been shot in Poland and features Ali Zafar, Maya Ali and Faisal Qureshi. The hummable track starts off with acoustic guitar and features a dream sequence where Teefa (Ali Zafar) and Anya (Maya Ali) are dancing on water amidst gorgeous surroundings.

Teefa In Trouble marks Ahsan Rahim’s cinematic debut and features veteran actors Jawed Sheikh, Mehmood Aslam, Asma Abbas and Faisal Qureshi among others. The music for the film is being distributed in Pakistan by Lightingale Productions, who have collaborated exclusively with Times Music’s Junglee Music for its international distribution. The rest of the soundtrack of Teefa in Trouble has also released and can be found on YouTube.

Another film to release a new song is Parwaaz Hai Junoon, the much-awaited Air Force film that will release on Eid-ul-Azha.

The track, ‘Bhulleya’ shot in the beautiful locations of Northern Pakistan, is the first song to be released from the film and stars Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Amir and comedian Syed Shafaat Ali as cadets who are undergoing training at the Air Force Academy. The music has been produced by Saad Sultan and the film marks the debut of Azaan Sami Khan as a music composer. While the video is all about the hardships that these trainees go through, ‘Bhulleya’, penned by Shakeel Sohail and sung by Mustehsan Khan, fails to leave a mark.

The music is dull, and the singer is unable to pull off the singing required in a song like this and at times sounds inaudible. The lyrics are typical and the strong vocals needed to make this average display of poetry sound good is missing. However, it is hard to ignore the alluring locations and beautiful cinematography.

Directed by Haseeb Hassan, Parwaaz Hai Junoon is a tribute to Pakistan Air Force and stars Hamza Ali Abbasi, Hania Aamir, Ahad Raza Mir and Shaz Khan in pivotal roles. Its ensemble cast also includes Kubra Khan, Marina Khan, Asif Raza Mir, Syed Shafaat Ali and Adnan Jaffer.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon is scheduled to release on Eid-ul-Azha along with Mehwish Hayat and Fahad Mustafa-starrer Load Wedding and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 that has an all-star cast including Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Kubra Khan, Mawra Hocane and Ahmed Ali Butt among others.
