It was a pleasant experience to hear and see the veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and his daughter Pooja Bhatt in Karachi. Both of them have been given a warm welcome at the National Academy of Performing Arts. Indian channels also telecast Pakistani dramas. We are meeting and sharing cultural products.
A month ago, the award-winning Indian film and stage actor Naseeruddin Shah was also invited by the Oxford University Press for launching his autobiography. The most commonly held view of these artists is that: we are one like a country; we have so many things in common; we must relish and enjoy our similarities and. It is a fact that we are victims of political gimmicks. The wall of hatred between the two countries should be demolished now. Such visits are a healthy sign in relations between the two countries.
