KARACHI: An official of the Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (East), Karachi has been ordered dismissed on misconduct and inefficiency, a notification said on Wednesday.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sacked BS-16 appraiser, Mir Alam Khan.
The disciplinary proceedings under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973 were initiated against the official and Muhammad Nayyar Shafiq, Additional Collector was appointed as inquiry officer to conduct inquiry on account of various acts of omission and commission committed by the accused officer, the notification said. The inquiry officer in a report said the accused officer found guilty.
