The Sindh government’s decision to introduce Chinese from grade VI is not a healthy development given the present abysmal state of education in the province.
Already, students are in a quandary. They are neither proficient in Urdu nor English. Now they have to learn Chinese as well. The provincial government should try to solve students’ language puzzle.
