Karachi’s law and order situation is an open secret. The Karachi University is at one end of the city and students from every corner of the city get enrolled there – both in the morning and evening classes. The university provides the point (transport) service to students in the morning classes but the students of evening classes are deprived of this facility.
Thus they are forced to take public transport which is not at all safe, especially for female students and especially in the evening. The Karachi University is no doubt providing quality education with a very minimal fee but the lack of transport facilities for evening students and the general condition of public transport forces them to opt for private vans, which charge high amounts that are not affordable for everyone. The authorities concerned are requested to take notice of this situation and provide equal facilities to both morning and evening students of the university.
