ISLAMABAD: The 10th Power Gen Conference 2018 aimed at providing knowledge, awareness, networking and research and development opportunities in power sector, will be held on Friday, a statement said.
Energy Update in collaboration with Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB) and Alternate Energy Development Board (AEDB) are jointly organising the conference, it added. The conference will offer an interactive discussion to enable local and international energy experts, high officials of ministry of water and power, IPP’s, power distribution companies (DISCOS) to come up with future energy solutions.
Power Gen Conference Organising Committee Chairman Naeem Qureshi said that engineering companies, regulators, power producers, academia would share their experience and expertise about latest advancements in power sector adopted and utilised worldwide, especially in the Asia-Pacific Region. Minister of State for Finance and Economic Affairs Rana Muhammad Afzal will be the chief guest.
