This refers to the news report ‘Nawaz has no direct link with London flats’ (May 4). The heading is misleading as it doesn’t present the correct picture to readers. The London flats were purchased sometime between 1992 and 1993 when Nawaz Sharif’s children were minor.
It was Nawaz Sharif’s money that was used in the purchase of the property. That money could have been obtained through unfair means. Nawaz Sharif has said on the floor of the House that those having corruption money do not keep it in their own name. The puzzle has already been settled by him.
