Pilot of inaugural flight to new Islamabad airport holds out Pakistan flag from cockpit window

ISLAMABAD: The first flight of the Pakistan International Airlines on Tuesday landed at the new Islamabad International Airport.

The flight landed after Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi inaugurated the new airport at a ceremony also attended by governors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.

"Pakistan Zindabad! The first flight arrives at the new Islamabad International Airport!#FirstFlightPIA #NewAirportwithPIA #PIA," said the PIA.

In a video shared by the PIA on its official Twitter account, one of the pilots was holding Pakistan flag from cockpit window.
