Where’s the messiah?

After 70 years of its existence, Pakistan has evidently become a rudderless ship where dreams and hopes are sold and bought everyday by politicians and clergymen. In our country, the line between saint and sinner has blurred over time.

According to some media reports, nearly 39 percent of Pakistanis live in multidimensional poverty – which means that every four out of 10 people live impoverished lives. Every day is new struggle. There is no conceivable way out of this labyrinth. The wait for a messiah is ceaseless.
