It is really a sad moment for the Christian community in our country. And both the perpetrators and those who killed people over mere suspicion are guilty and ought to be punished. There is no doubt that most minority sects and small communities have been suffering badly in Pakistan for years.
The Christian community has suffered the most. Churches were attacked, individuals were mercilessly murdered. One still remembers the brutal killing of a Christian couple last year. So under such circumstances the violent reaction from this oppressed community is not a thing that should be termed unexpected. But the bitter truth is that after so much killings and violence, the authorities concerned have done nothing to prevent such happenings. However, we are all Pakistanis and whether we are Muslims, Christians or of any other faith, we all have to work together to bring peace to this land.
