The case to which I want to draw the attention of the traffic authorities is perhaps the most neglected one. Every time when I am driving on the roads, I notice a large number of people parking their cars right in the middle of the road, creating inconvenience for the incoming traffic. The carelessness and utter disregard showed by drivers cause traffic congestion because of which traffic is brought to a standstill for good 15 to 20 minutes.
Wrong parking plays an important role in disrupting the flow of vehicular traffic. It also leads to somewhat violent scuffles among people who start hurling abuses at each other because someone has parked the car in a wrong manner. The traffic police personnel should keep a vigilant eye on these practices to ensure that people park their cars only at authorised parking spaces.
