SHARJAH: West Indian spinner Sunil Narine, who is currently playing Pakistan Super League (PSL), came under a new storm as his bowling action was reported during the match between Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars on March 14 here at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

As per details, Lahore Qalandars’ spinner Narine was placed on the warning list for suspected illegal bowling action, but allowed to continue to take part in the remaining match would be played against Peshawar Zalmi on Friday, as his team has already been out of play-offs competitions of the Pakistan Super League 2018. Report on Narine´s bowling action will be sent to Cricket West Indies (CWI).

It is pertinent to note that Narine was first reported for an illegal action during the Champions League in India in 2014, then reported in Sri Lanka in November 2016 and was suspended after biomechanical tests. He was later cleared in April 2016 before the Indian Premier League (IPL).
