After lending vocals and composing songs for Pakistani films such as Dekh Magar Pyar Se, Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay and the most recent Chupan Chupai, music group Soch is all set for their next cinematic venture.
Comprising lead vocalist Adnan Dhool and singer-guitarist Rabi Ahmed, the band is currently working on the soundtrack of upcoming air force film Sherdil that stars Armeena Khan, Mikaal Zulfikar and Mohib Mirza in key roles.
“We are working on the lyrics, composition and production of the songs featured on the soundtrack of Sherdil,” Adnan Dhool told Instep. “The mixing and mashing of the songs will be done in India. There are around four to five songs in the film out of which Aima [Baig] and I will be singing one while other singers are yet to be finalized. We are currently in talks with some vocalists for other songs.”
Speaking of the nature of songs on the film’s soundtrack, he informed that there is a party song, a wedding number, a romantic song and a track that will be played in background during a training session for the air force officers.
Sherdil is currently in production and is expected to release later this year.
