Though the province of Sindh as a whole is a picture of neglect, some areas are deprived of even basic amenities of life such as electricity, roads, schools and gas. Village Molvi Hussain Soomro is one of such areas.
Located in Deh Lakhati, Taluka Matli in the Badin district, the village comprises around 600 houses. People are mostly attached with farming. In this modern age, these people have no access to quality education, electricity and other basic needs. Those who represent the area in the legislature have been winning elections for decades and wield great influence. That is why even though people are deprived of their fundamental rights yet they are forced by circumstances to vote for them.
