KARACHI: The Institute Architects Pakistan (IAP), Karachi Chapter, is organising IAPEX 2018 at the Expo Centre, Karachi from March 2 to March 4 2018, a statement said on Wednesday.
Like always, this year’s IAPEX comprises of an exhibition and an international conference, it added. The exhibition brings to the visitors an unlimited variety of building and construction materials under one roof.
This year’s IAPEX will be spread across three exhibition halls. The exhibition hosts many international vendors also providing a great opportunity for new materials to be introduced into the local market, the statement said.The main purpose of IAPEX is to encourage local vendors, so that they may get a formal platform to exhibit their products. IAPEX is not only a great source of information for local architects, developers and town planners, but also proves to be very popular in the general public, it said. This year’s theme of the accompanying international conference is "Communal Spaces - Transformation & Lessons", a title that has been responsible for many discourses recently in the international community of architects.
