Unpaid dues

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) in Punjab pays a fixed amount to teachers for performing examination-related duties, including invigilation. Invigilators are paid on a per paper basis. However, the board takes a lot of time to clear the dues.

To date, the authorities haven’t paid the invigilation staff appointed for the intermediate examinations that held last May. Almost nine months have passed and the teachers who diligently performed their duties are waiting to receive the payment.
