PCB fires Moin Khan as chief selector
KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday fired former test cricketer Moin Khan as the chief selector of the national side.
Moin Khan met with PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan and was informed that his services were no longer required. Moin was told the committee did not want him to continue as chief selector. The casino controversy was not mentioned

Moin Khan met with PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan and was informed that his services were no longer required. Moin was told the committee did not want him to continue as chief selector. The casino controversy was not mentioned during Moin Khan’s meeting with the PCB chief.
Moin Khan was caught in a controversy during Pakistan’s World Cup campaign when he was spotted at a casino during the tournament. The PCB decided not to take any action against Moin Khan but did state that a new selection committee would be formed after the World Cup.
