Go organic

While the world has developed a lot of techniques to use organic fertilisers, Pakistan is still lagging behind. There is not enough awareness about the latest methods that can make the farming process a lot easier. Farmers here can easily use livestock wastes and other organic waste for the production of organic fertilisers, if they are equipped with proper machinery.

Such a move would also reduce the use of inorganic fertilisers. Since organic fertilisers are vital for soil structure and are cheaper (Rs360 per hectare), we should use them instead of inorganic fertilisers because the latter causes soil erosion and degradation of soil structure.
