LAHORE
The annual reunion of Formanite Alumni Association of Forman Christian College (FCC) was held on college campus on Saturday.
According to a press release, distinguished Formanite awards for the outstanding contributions were given to Head of Silk Bank Shaukat Tarin, Executive Director and Vice-Chairman of Warwickshire Primary Care Trust and Chairman of Warwickshire Health Authority Dr James Shera for his services for education, health, and taxation, and Dr Muhammad Akhtar Khan, one of the most senior doctors practising in Lahore.
Rector FCC Dr James Tebbe summarised the achievements of the past year and spoke about the future plans for the university. He also outlined the infrastructural developments of the past year including the addition of classrooms and offices and inauguration of Hope Tower, the new on-campus girls’ hostel.
