The rupee marginally fell against the dollar in the currency market on Thursday, a dealer said. In the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee closed at 101.85 against the greenback, down five paisas as compared to the previous closing of 101.90.
Dealers said trading in the foreign exchange remained dull with no major buyers of the dollars seen in the market. In the open market, the rupee was traded at 101.80 for buying and 102 for selling against the dollar.
