Rebensburg finished in a combined time of 2min 6.19sec to edge Norwegian Ragnhild Mowinckel by just 0.03sec and Italian Federica Brignone by 0.66sec. Shiffrin, who has dominated this season, suffered a rare fall in the first run, ceding first place in the World Cup giant slalom standings to Rebensburg. However, the American still holds an overwhelming lead in the overall standings.”
