It was jointly decided that a relief train and relief crane will be positioned at Dalbandin Station, Pakistan. The roster for passenger train between Pakistan and Iran is not decided yet. It will be mutually decided by DS Quetta and DG Zahidan Railways later.

If the passenger train will be successful, then with consultation of tourism departments of both countries, an International Tourism Train can also be run between major cities of Pakistan and Iran. The upgradation of ML III will be taken as priority as it is going to be a busy track in near future. ML III consists of Rohri, Sukkur, Sibi, Spezand, Quetta, Noshki, Dalbandin and Taftan sections.

The speed shall be increased at Quetta-Taftan section. At present due to deplorable condition of the track the speed restriction is 40 kmph. By replacing the track, it would be 120 kmph to 160 kmph. however, it requires a huge investment.
