TORONTO: Twiggy, a water-skiing squirrel, has many fans. While the 10-year-old furry fellow has been pulling off surfing stunts with its tiny speedboat, another performance went viral across the fans since Sunday.

Toronto International Boat Show welcomed this trained squirrel with a round of blistering applauses at the kids section where many children gathered around a pool to view Twiggy’s voyage.

Twiggy, has long been making appearances at cognate shows, where this year round, the munchkin showed up at the Toronto’s ongoing boat show which is scheduled to go on till January 21, where Twiggy will be performing on different timings every day until the event ends.

The squirrels are trained to ride on buoyant foam blocks, which are then towed behind a remote-controlled boat. Once re-tired, the squirrels become family pets – however, Twiggy managed to make its name with a larger broadcast, with her appearances in the films Anchorman and Dodgeball.
