Ethnic cleansing

It is a sad reality that the Rohingya in Myanmar are being treated brutally. More than 60,000 people have fled to Bangladesh to find shelter. These people now live in camps and rely on aid. Despite the UN calling the army’s campaign ethnic cleansing, Myanmar’s military has claimed that it has carried out a legitimate operation. The criminal silence of Muslim countries has also highlighted the fact that the Muslim world is not united.

There are so many people who have lost their entire families in this operation. There are so many children who are unable to recover from the terrors of war. It is unfortunate that powerful Muslim countries didn’t call out Myanmar for its brutal killings.
