KARACHI: DHA Suffa University (DSU) welcomed renowned researcher, scientist and academician Professor Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, NI, HI, SI, TI, to deliver a seminar entitled “The Exciting World Of Discovery”. Professor Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman addressed the student community of DHA Suffa University where he briefly touched upon subjects like Genomics, Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, 3-D Printing, Cybugs, Quantum Dot Lights, Solar Cells, Nanotechnology, Molecular Basis of Thought and Meta-materials. All in all, Professor Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman’s lecture was infused with recent discoveries made in the world of science. He focused his talk on encouraging DSU students to develop a passion for learning within them and to lead a disciplined life avoiding spurious pursuits. The young future engineers, computer scientists and business leaders present in the audience were captivated and enthralled by Professor Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman’s passion for learning and developing the Pakistani Nation.
Speaking at the occasion, the DSU Vice Chancellor, Rear Admiral (R) Engr. Professor Dr. Sarfraz Hussain TI, SI, expressed that learning and discovery are the pillars of the values of DSU and he reiterated his resolve to develop DSU into a world renowned seat of higher education and research.
