The film has earned a profit of 17 million rupees so far which in terms of the Pakistani film industry is a massive victory.

During the interview, Ahsan Khan revealed that many Pakistanis complain there are various dramas that effectively grip the viewer’s attention but the lack of praise-worthy films in our country is still high, after which he reassured the audience that Chhupan Chhupai comes with ample entertainment.

Ahsan Khan also praised his co-star Neelam Munir by saying that she possessed all the qualities that are needed to succeed as a film star and would undeniably be up for working with her in the future as well.

On the other hand, Neelam Munir revealed that she thoroughly enjoys playing comic characters in films which is why she was happy with the script of Chhupan Chhupai as the audience always enjoys comedy films more than sober ones.

She also expressed admiration for the work of other actresses and hoped for their films to soar as high as her film, because the ultimate result would be an enriched film industry in Pakistan.

After being asked if she would ever consider working for Bollywood, she fully declined and stated that she prefers working for her own country. She further added that if she were to work in a film once more, it would be alongside Ahsan Khan again.

Ahsan Khan and Neelam Munir-starrer Chhupan Chhupai was released on 29th of December 2017 and will be exhibited in Dubai on January 4, whereas it will be in theatres in Canada and USA on January 5 of 2018.
