The rupee remained steady on Monday on the back of slow trading activity, dealers said. The rupee closed at 105.46 against the dollar as compared to the previous closing of 105.45 in the interbank market. The currency pair was traded as low as 104.45 and high as 105.50. In the kerb market, the rupee / dollar parity remained firm at 107.20/40 for buying and selling.
