We have a right to ask the government how long it will take to defeat terrorism. Too many innocent people have been killed during the last 10 years – a period in which many governments – both democratic and military – have come and gone. They applied different policies to deal with the issue but people are still dying.
Our leaders are secure in their bulletproof cars while ordinary people are facing the security brunt. Is this not injustice? Our educational institutions now look more like a police station with heavily-armed guards. People feel insecure while going to mosques. Their freedom to move freely and worship in their own specific ways has been greatly restricted. Is this not against the constitution?
