Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma, who last appeared in Harry Met Sejal, loves to explore new horizons and her latest venture proves just that. After modeling, acting and co-producing (NH10), the multifaceted artist now taps into the world of fashion with a new clothing line called NUSH.
“The idea of wanting to have my own clothing brand is something that I was thinking about from the past 4-5 years,” Sharma told Elle. “Each one of us is unique and has our own dressing styles that suit us. We’ve tried to create clothes that you can wear to work, to college, to an evening do or even just to hang out casually. I have personally taken interest in the styles of NUSH, so there’s a bit of myself in all the outfits.”
This is Sharma’s second entrepreneurial venture after her production banner, Clean Slate Films under which she co-produced NH10. NUSH features matching printed separates, midi dresses, short dresses, sweatshirts, embroidered denims and jackets under Autumn/Winter collection ‘17. The lineup isn’t for those who are looking for some glamorous clothes but caters to people’s everyday needs with simple, understated and casual outfits on offer.
