During the course of hearing, IHC’s Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui remarked that mobile phones had spoiled the young generation as the youngsters of less than 18 years should not be allowed to use mobile phones and legislation should be brought forward in this regard. The IHC single bench took up the bail application of two accused allegedly involved in kidnapping and rape.

Alleged rape victim, Sumaira, on the court’s inquiry, said that she married Anil after embracing Islam while her mother told the court that Anil had already married Sumaira’s elder sister. On court’s inquiry, Anil said that he was earlier a Christian and his name was Anil and then he embraced Islam and he changed his name as Abdul Rehman and he married Sumaira. He said that Sumaira’s elder sister was also his wife and she was in his wifehood as a Christian.

On court query, Sumaira said that she staged a drama showing that she was raped when media persons came and got two persons arrested in this regard. At this, the court ordered to arrest Anil and Sumaira from the courtroom.
