KARACHI: Sindh Tennis Association (STA) on Friday organised a coaching campas part of ITF Junior Tennis Initiative atGovernment Anjuman-e-IslamiaBoys Primary SchoolNo1, Liaquatabad No 10.
Senior Vice PresidentSTA Muhammad Khalid Rehmani said that their body has agreed upon a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SchoolEducation Department Karachi to introduce JTI activities on fortnightly basis in government schools in Karachi.
The target is to introduce 5000 students to tennis in 2017 in Sindh. Racquets, balls, coaching and other equipments will be provided by STA. The event at Anjuman-e-IslamiaSchoolwas the first in this respect. Qualified national coaches FarahRiaz (JTI Coordinator) andEibad Sarwar Hussain (National Green Badge Coach) trained more than 350 boys and girls.
