Kidnappers kill child after identification

Police arrest three, including woman, daughter

MULTAN: Three kidnappers killed a seven-year-old child after he identified them, Shah Rukn-e-Alam police said.
Three people had kidnapped Abdullah when he was playing in a street of Shah Rukn-e-Alam on January 18. Later, the kidnappers contacted the abductee’s family and demanded Rs 10 million ransom for his release. The family immediately informed Shah Rukn-e-Alam police, who started investigation. Police traced the kidnappers through the phone call and arrested them from Abdullah’s neighbourhood. They are Nasim Mai, her daughter Mudasra and Ehsan. During investigation, the kidnappers told police they killed the abductee on January 21 because he had identified them and threw his body at Tulamba, Khanewal district.
When Shah Rukan-e-Alam police contacted Khanewal police they told them they buried the body as they failed to identify him. To it, police rushed to Khanewal and brought the body to Multan.
