PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly on Monday unanimously adopted a resolution demanding implementation of death sentence to Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav.

Sponsored by a JUI-F lawmaker, the House unanimously adopted a resolution recommending to the federal government to execute the Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav for his involvement in espionage and terrorism in Pakistan.

The House passed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Employees of Transport Department (Regularisation of Services) Bill 2017. The consideration of the Kaghan Development Authority Bill 2017 was deferred due to the absence of relevant minister.

A member of Standing Committee on Procedure & Conduct of Business Rules Privileges and Implementation of Government Assurances presented a report before the House. The House took up five out of nine questions for answers during the proceedings. One question was deferred and three lapsed due to movers’ absence.

The lawmakers also asked three supplementary questions. The House took up two call attention notices regarding review of educational curriculum and regularisation of the services of employees at the Regional Blood Center in Peshawar.
