Karachi: Chief minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has decided to give a 90-day extension in Rangers special powers in the province after the Sindh cabinet approved it in a meeting here on Saturday.
The special powers will allow paramilitary forces to carry our raids and investigations against target killers, extortionists, and traffickers.
The special cabinet session was called by Sindh Chief Minister to discuss the issue of the Rangers extension as the top priority.
CM Sindh admitted that the Rangers’ targetted operations had produced positive results in the province.
The session also decided to improve Police force and their skills.
