“The PTCL and Iflix have entered an agreement, which allows our customers to watch a wide range of Iflix content for a full year,” Adnan Shahid, PTCL’s chief commercial officer told a press conference.

The PTCL official added the subscribers can indulge in unlimited content including local movies, which they can watch on their mobile phones, laptops, TVs hooked to the PTCL broadband connections with speeds of 4mbps and above, and the PTCL Smart TV.

It must be noted here that Inflix was already launched in Pakistan in January 2017.

Speaking on the occasion, Christian Toksvig, chief commercial officer Iflix, said Pakistan was a 200-million-strong country, where more than 40 million people own smartphones.

“Iflix is for the generation that watches entertainment content on mobiles. It’s for that generation. What they want, where they want and when they want,” Toksvig said.
