- Action; five teenagers are recruited by Zordon (Cranston) to form the newest generation of Power Rangers and stop an alien invader, witch Rita Repulsa (Banks).
- Reboot of the franchise created by Haim Saban; is the third Power Rangers film, the first in 20 years.
- Had a budget of $100 million; has made over $70 million in around a week.
- Has received mixed to negative reviews from critics, who found the film uneven and silly.

- Will potentially be followed by a sequel, with a six movie story arc already planned.

Chan Kong-sang
- Born on 7th April 1954 in Victoria Peak, British Hong Kong.
- Trained in martial arts and acrobatics in his youth.
- Got the nickname “Little Jack”, later shortened to “Jackie”, while working as a construction worker in Canberra in 1976 - where his father had emigrated in the ‘60s - after a builder named Jack took him under his wing.
- Started acting as a child, appearing in small roles.
- Got his first starring role in Little Tiger of Canton (1973), and his first Hollywood role in The Big Brawl (1980).
- Was initially model after Bruce Lee, but ultimately found international success in the action comedy genre, getting his breakthrough in Rush Hour (1998).
- Has since starred in films including Shanghai Noon (2000), Rush Hour 2 (2001), Shanghai Knights (2003), Around the World in 80 Days (2004), Rush Hour 3 (2007), The Karate Kid (2010), Skiptrace (2016), and the Kung Fu Panda animated series (2008 - present).
- Usually performs most of his own stunts.
- Is also a successful singer; has released several albums since the early ‘80s.
- Upcoming projects include the films The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017) and The Foreigner (2017).
