After the success of Sajal Aly and Feroze Khan-starrer Gul e Rana and Saba Qamar and Zahid Ahmed-starrer Besharam (that has been nominated in various categories for the upcoming Lux Style Awards), Farooq Rind is gearing up for another TV play. His new venture, Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai is all set to air on Geo TV next month.
Starring Ayeza Khan, Imran Abbas and Shehzad Sheikh in lead roles, the play looks like a love triangle according to the teasers that have started coming out. Khan and Abbas are in love with each other and are going to get married soon but, of course, things will not remain smooth. There’s a twist in the play that will change the course of events. Khan and Abbas received much appreciation for their onscreen chemistry in last year’s drama serial Tum Kon Piya that was very popular among masses.
The play is written by the legendary playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar of Sadqay Tumhare and Pyarey Afzal fame and produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi.
Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai seems to be another play that adds to TV’s growing obsession with love affairs and marriages. Given that it’s being directed by Rind, one expects it to have a twist though. What it holds in store for us, time will tell.
