Although the constitution of Pakistan is unambiguous and categorical about equal opportunities for all, the misogynistic mindset prevalent in various public-sector organisations places gender equality in jeopardy. Women employees often face a hostile work environment: they are either unwelcomed or made to feel insecure. There is a dire need to alter this mentality and make offices more accepting.
Moreover, the need for gender equality in educational institutions, including capacity-training institutes has become increasingly acute.
