There is no healthcare facility in Mubarak Village. A maternity home and a dispensary building were constructed by the government which were later demolished for the renovation, but no work has been carried out to date. Despite persistent demands by the people, no doctors and paramedical staff have been appointed so far. There are, however, no arrangements for dealing with emergency cases – especially maternity cases.
Villagers had to take patients to hospitals in Karachi in case of emergencies. In serious cases, patients die on the way to the hospital. Several complaints have been made by residents to the concerned officials, but no action has been taken to provide healthcare facilities in the area.
