Ahsan Rahim’s upcoming directorial venture is picking up steam. Every thing we hear about the project has simply heighten our expectations and so far, it all looks very good.
For example, we have high hopes from Ali Zafar, and these are not unsubstantiated expectations. Zafar managed to charm Bollywood as he made his way through the industry proving that he can act, sing, and dance just as well as his Bollywood counterparts. He’s taken all those learnings and is putting them to good use in his own venture.
Secondly, the film is titled Teefa in Trouble and thankfully, that does not sound like the sort of clichéd film titles we’ve been hearing recently. One can only imagine what the film will be about though.
Finally, we have also discovered that TV star Maya Ali will be the leading lady opposite Zafar. Maya has been making waves in the TV circuit since her last couple of plays and even though Mann Mayal received a lot of backlash for it’s regressive plot, Maya emerged victorious as an actor who should be taken seriously.
Zafar shared the first look of the film on his Twitter page and while you can barely see him next to the gorgeous Maya, we can already tell that this couple will set the screens on fire. Watch out!
