The Islamabad stocks extended the gains on Friday with Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) 10-share Index rose 74.13 points to close at 4,062.79 points.
Shares of a total of 150 companies traded with 84 seeing upward movement in their prices and 66 going downwards. Trade volume also went up by 24,600 shares to 71,300 shares.
Askari Bank was the volume leader, followed by NIB Bank and PIA. Akzo Noble Pakistan emerged as the top gainer. Its share value edged up Rs19.21 to Rs403.48. Mitchells Fruit Farms saw a declining trend in its share price with a decrease of Rs38.35 to Rs728.68 a share.
